A Wrinkle in Time by: madeline L'engle


In this book, there is the main characters, Meg, Charles Wallace, and, Calvin. Meg and Charles Wallace are brother and sister. They met Calvin while they were walking their dog to Mrs. Who, Mrs. whatsit, and Mrs. Which's house. These ladies are Charles Wallace's friends.

They later find out that they are three star ladies that are here to help them find their Dad who is a former scientist who had traveled to a different planet, working for the government. He has been gone for many months, and Meg had almost lost hope that her Dad would come back, until these three star ladies told her that they would help. They took Calvin along with them and transported to first the planet Uriel, where the star ladies gave them these flowers, in which they stick their noses into when they transport as the atmosphere gets thinner so they can breathe. After they go to Uriel, the star ladies almost transport them to Mars, but they remember that it is a two dimensional planet and the flowers are not strong enough for them to breathe through. After that big mistake, they finally land on, Camazotz, the planet where their Dad is trapped on. When they get there, they realize that everything is the same, and that everything runs on a certain beat, the girls jump ropes, the boy's bouncing balls, even the Mom's when they come to get their kids are on the same beat. What weird planet is this? Why do they run on a certain beat? What is this controlled by? Ffind out in, A Wrinkle in Time.

Closed for the Season



Logan just moved in to what everyone calls " the murder house" they call it that because the old lady that lived there "Myrtle Donaldson" was murdered in her own home. Everyone thinks it is Ms. Donaldsons' brother in law Sylas because he never liked Myrtle and he has a criminal record. Logan meets a boy named Arthur. They become friends and want to find out the mystery of her sudden death. Along the way they meet Nina, a reporter on the same case. The more they figure out the more trouble they get into.
